My full name written in Traditional Chinese is 黃曉蘋, the pronunciation and also listed in my passport is
Huang, Hsiao-Ping. Huang is family name, usually, it describes the color yellow.

My full name in Taiwan language is Ng Hiau Phong; Ng is
the pronunciation of yellow, my family name.
The word, Hsiao or Hiau, it means “morning” 🌞or “understand” or “realize”, and, Phong or Ping, it means “apple”🍎, it is
because my aunt/my mother’s youngest sister thinks I look like an apple when I
was born.

When I was a university student, I named myself as Yellow
Morning Apple and my classmates also call me this way.

At work, people call me Emily or Hsiao Phong 👈 in Taiwan language, it

adventures: I have also encountered a
lot of unfair things at workplace. I will create articles to share those
experiences here, so I won’t describe the detail in this page; you can click

2. Why join LinkedIn
and my daily life：
- I join #LinkedIn for [changing jobs] purpose, I’m seeking for work
opportunities not only in Taiwan but also in those open for expat. Thank you,
internet. However, the statutory retirement age is different from country to
country, and, in my dream, no matter which country I’ll stay next, I hope its
overall environment allows me to work till the age I need to retire but I still
can develop this blog, work as a kind of professional service provider or
teaching or helping others as my daily mission in my life; I hope the language
of the country I’ll stay is not so difficult to learn, because I’ll go to the
library sometimes 😉,
if it is not Chinese or English, it will be difficult to understand those books…😟.
Besides Taiwan,
what’s your idea about the countries which may be suitable to me to go for
fulfilling my expectation?!
I also hope
could keep learning…and learning.
I admire people coming from other countries for work + settling down +
learning Chinese or Taiwanese after coming here but fluent now, all I can say

Places I frequently go to are not many: (1)home (2)office, and the
others are

Every morning I
do fitness walking in the park, except for rainy days or those I have something
else to do.

I loan books
from the library, these years, I’ve got the awareness of the must of saving space,
cost and paper. Below are those I just loaned, I hope to know the different and
similar idea between mine and the professionals’…

Regarding
nightclubs, I went there once, it was more than 10 years ago, a very famous one
in Taipei City; thank Olivia brought me there, and I know nightclubs
environment is not suitable to me. I’m very loyal: Spicy Hot Pot stores! 🍲 😁
1. Personality: since I was a student, there are people
saying I am a mysterious person that I don’t share information of my life too
much. In fact, I don’t share because I don’t know what others want to know! 😄 May I describe my
personality by revealing my astrological sign?! I found this via internet now: Sun sign-#Capricorn, Rising-#Libra, Neptune-#Sagittarius, Mars-#Taurus
(I surely move very slowly at home), Mercury and Moon sign-#Aquarius, but I
feel their explanation and my personality fits only 49% or less. Please feel my
personality when we meet ~! 😊

Recommend music in blog post：it is because I love music, I love music, maybe, because my parents love
music; I learned playing piano before, it has been a
long time I didn’t practice it, now I only have the ability in enjoying music (💔):
I stopped learning because I
needed more time in my academically study, I’ve already lost the capability to
read musical staff, now I need to calculate the grid to know the notation, and
just like most of the people who have not learned playing piano, I now play it
in 1-finger dot-dot method, please
see below illustration; please let me know which finger you are good at using to
play musical instruments?! 😆😆😆

Regarding the extracurricular activities in school,
In the elementary school, I
joined the percussion band, it became an orchestra later, I don’t remember why
finally I was assigned to be the leader standing in front of the band, thank
the coach for choosing me; after that, I joined girls scout, being the national
flag bearer standing in the center of the team, wearing airtight uniform that
made us sweaty in our school’s founding anniversary (so many activities, now I realize
why I needed to give up my piano learning program then!!😆); My junior high school and senior high
school are both girls’ school, I also joined marching bands then, I’m
interested in all the musical instruments in the group, however, I chose trombone to learn because I
know trombone team members will stand in the first line of the band, it brings high visibility😁 ! In senior high
school, thank our coach and team mates’ affirmation, it’s my honor to be selected
to be the leader of the band again after my similar experience in elementary
school (our trombone team mates nick-named me, Tom, the Tom in cartoon-“The Adventures of Tom
Sawyer”. Do you want to know why they named me like this?😁).In the year of our
performing, our greatest regret was that we and our Honor Guard cannot
represent for our school performing in front of the Presidential Office at
Double Tenth Day due to the folk groups performing arrangement changed in that
year…(💔). Note: we are so
called the #DaughterofSunGod, or, #YellowShirtIntellectual due to the
color of our uniform; yes, it is #Ching-MeiGirlsHighSchool, the students won the highest honor in global tug-of-war contests these
years, I graduated from this school. I didn’t attend the tug-of-war because………I’m
older, it started after years of my graduation! 😅
My picture: I’m the person in the middle with our trombone
teammates; I cover their faces because of individual information security legal
issue. (another reason is they are much more prettier than I am! 😄😄😄)
If you want to know: I joined English studying and ball room dancing clubs in our school when I was studying in university…I was impressed by a member, just like me, he was also a beginner, wearing glasses and looking like a person who is studying hard, but his dancing leading skill is amazing, I guess he was joining to embarrass the senior students who were teaching us😆, though he led me dancing, I don’t know his name and only remember he said his height is 175cm, and his department is science and engineering related. 😊
1. I recommended recipe video because I love delicious
foods. I’m not familiar
with cooking, I don’t cook often; I was responsible for making lunch for my
parents and brought it to the hospital for my parents when my dad was sick, I
didn’t refer to recipe, all by intuition, I got a big complimenting for my
cooking, I may be born to be a Chef but being misled into Accounting works.😆
I’m afraid of eating sashimi, besides vegetable salad, I hardly eat raw
food; I don’t smoke, I don’t drink alcohol but cocktail and so-ju chicken,
however, in Taiwanese food, I eat no-water added so-ju chicken 😄…I’ve competed with
many people before, I’ve never got drunk! 😆

2. Reply to questions about uploaded phono in LinkedIn: I’ve not done any plastic surgery yet,
and I hope I don’t need it in the future; below I’ve uploaded my picture of
childhood time, it was in kindergarten activity, the picture is for comparison
of my nose, current and in childhood😆😆, I used duckbill clip to pinch my nose and hope it can be
higher 😆, it seems
it works; it was plastic clip, around 8cm, it won’t hurt the nose but people
need to pick the THINGs inside the nose first…do not pinch too long time, because
we need to breathe~!😪😬😃 Please be safe. In this photo, my hair is real, I didn’t wear wig, I only wore
wig once, it was in a year-end party in a company I worked for; maybe, I look
younger now, it is because I start doing exercising, thank my parents giving me
this kind of appearance, and, I used highlight, wrinkle remover and spot remover
functions in #MeiTu app to beautify my photo：

I forgot to say but I believe you can tell I’m a woman. 😄😄😄!
Styling color matching: there was a
makeup artist telling me that it is better the color of our hair and eyebrow is
aligned, what a great advice! It enlightened me the idea of the color and
clothes of this photo. Do you feel you’re having the Caramel macchiato when
looking at me?! I love black coffee! ☕ 😊
I worry about the risk of
being virus infected in hair salons so I dyed my hair by myself; the hair dye
brand and color are #COLORFUL, COCOA
BROWN; my purpose is to cover my gray hair. I got complimenting due to the
color is gradient, however, it is not intentional, it is because I’m not
skillful that caused it uneven 😄😄😄! I dyed again when developing this post, it is more
gradient again! I need to improve my skill! 😭😆😆😆
I use eyebrow pencil, its
brand tag was worn off, I forgot which brand it is; the color I used does match
my hair’s.
The lipstick, its brand is #CHANEL coco+#Essence, I mixed their
color until I find the most matched one then. 💋
My own idea about ideal
hair style for male office workers: no bangs, length of the hair not to covered
the ears, the shorter the better, clean; if they are bald, some may still have
a little hair, it is also the shorter the better. In general, I think it is
better men’s hair style is like those of soldiers, policemen or that standard
hair style of cooks. Straight or curly, it depends on their own preference,
however, men or women, they look lovely if their hair is short and curly. 😊 There is a #FamilyMart convenient store close to
my house, I met a curly –haired young man store clerk and I complimented him
cute and asked for his approval to let me touch a little his tied curly hair,
and he literally lowered his head and let me touch it! I’m not sure whether my
behavior shocked him, I’ve never seen him since then! 😄
p.s. In Taiwanese custom,
men grow beards and hair means in their family, they are busy in dealing with
funeral affairs and paying less attention to get a haircut or appearance.

In [If you believe] series of articles, it mentioned about chanting
sutra or mantra and energy returning to the object we’re praying for, however,
how to prove it will surely work out?! This question is like: blessing has not come, yet, though, those
disasters have gone away. How to prove disaster has left away!?
However, I cannot promise
you because I’m not Buddha or deities, and I’m not sure whether your chanting
procedures are the same as those I’m sharing or there may be some things
influence your chanting result. All I can say is my wish is fulfilling
gradually but in a very slow progress. I suggest you not hold too tight to see
whether your prayers have come true or not but to define the most important
thing you need to do at every moment in your life and trust your judgement is
right for you.
