Positive and negative halo effects👈Do you think there is this kind of adjective?!

When I was building up this article, it was 2023/12/05, and things continue, I also find some situation about Mr. Musk on internet and news reports👈Maybe, you’ve already known:

(1) There is no / or less his response or opinion on negative comments on him.

(2) Those negative comments in (1), things are still being doing and carried out within the scope of what is later proven to be legal, even though they have been publicly criticized, for example, when expressing political opinions or when personal life situations are exposed.

(3) Under (1) and (2), there are also lots of fans on X, the investors are still supporting those companies he is managing etc.

 

Based on above (1)(2)(3), I define Mr. Musk’s attitude as [I don’t care what others are thinking]. This is my surmise.

 

Again, I think of my own situation: in other articles I’ve published, it described my encountering unfair situation at workplaces, and, to compare with above Mr. Musk’s behavior, those colleagues or managers who caused my suffering seems obviously two-faced, because they know what they want to do will cause criticizing, therefore, they work together for not being found out their intention, to describe this situation in internal control point of view, it is: joint fraud, in order to not being found out.👈However, I am the person being criticized or commented negatively and left the work environment.

 

Please allow me to ask you:

I’m not promoting Mr. Musk those criticized behavior, however, I want to know this and do you agree?!👉 People who are blamed or being laid off, being ridiculed /despised/disrespected, it is possible in fact they are a person with big kind heart or they are outstanding; at least, the possibility is not 0%.

(1) When you meet someone who is ridiculed /despised/disrespected, would you like to react something?!

(2) If you will do nothing, is it possible in the environment surrounding you in the future, there is less kindness or something excellent, and, it is impactful on you?!

(3) Those good persons and bad persons in our mind, who they really are in another aspect?!

What is your boundary and baseline in making friends?!

When you would like give or rescind your respect toward someone?

Or, you will agree all those persons did because they are celebrities or rich people?!

You respect A very much, however, A has done something you can’t endure, do you think you can rescind your respect toward A?! Or, you are afraid of people laughing at your or afraid of being bullied, or, you will worry you may lose something you want, so all you can do is keep pretending you respect A?! 👈How long you will plan to keep this pretending?!  If A finds you can’t endure what A has done but you keep respecting A👈How A will see you as a person?!

Are you a person of following the her?! If conformity protects people, then, what kind of protection might a maverick lose?!👈  It influences on your gain and loss, please decide carefully.

There is someone I know, many people respect him, he said: I have so much to lose, that much I won’t feel lost once I lose it! 👈Once you know this situation, will you respect this person?! Why?! Maybe, he won’t feel lost if he loses you or loses a particular friend! Do you agree?! What kind of person this person is?!

(4)     What’s really happening under the table? Why investors still support the bad person reported in news?!

On the other hand, when news show supervisors or bosses that many people support hurt their employees, do people think it is fake news within 3 seconds?! Or do they have to verify it before knowing it?!

Who is the person that defines a fake news without verifying it?! What kind of verifying capability this person has?! What supports this person’s speech?!

(5)     In this article, there is another person , a content creator on internet, he has also got hundreds of millions fans, do you find any news reporting this person?! If your situation like mine, no positive/negative news about this person, why Mr. Musk is reported negative news?! It seems there is no his positive news?! Why is this happening?

Is it because above (3) investors only love money?! There are tens of thousands investors, are they all this kind of people?!

I want to know the answer: I hope could consult and calculate those negative news about Mr. Musk, what it the source of those news? What are those reasons of the report and what is the value of those news?! After reported, who will get the value or money?!

1 year ago or longer, how are those persons who got those value or money, how is their life now?!

In another aspect, I want to learn above assumption and define:

[I don’t care what others are thinking!], and at the same time, I want to [evaluate those right and wrong and gain or loss], [therefore, I don't follow other people's negative news][unless there is value +opportunity to verify it].👈…because of curiosity, sometimes, I still read negative news…

I want to understand what my point of view really is.

I want to make conclusion based on facts I know directly or after my verification.

Please let me know your idea, when you comment on a person/your colleagues/your managers/job seekers, what things you need to have to support you making your conclusion?!

If you spend money to do some kind of investigation, and, because, the charge is taken as high price for general public, does it mean you agree to use money to support your power to invade of others’ privacy?! Although, there is a great possibility you won’t be caught, it is also because of your money and power you feel there is nothing serious if you are caught👈so you are this kind of person?! 👈👉If you are also a person who says ”I’ve had so much and won’t feel lost if I lose them” actually you are not👉you spend money for that investigation means you are afraid of losing something in the future so you need to investigate now, do you think this is true?! Using money to reduce the risk. Hence, people who have less money use their own intuition and the facts they got to know people and to comment others, and there are also people who are ”not afraid of losing”, because they are not the persons who did things wrong!

Some people think that if people spend money in investigating others, it is those people have no confidence in judging the situation or it is a start of ruin the sincere people relationship with each other =>If there are friendship or some kind of relationship in the future among those people, do they need to keep this investigation secret in the rest of their life?! Today is 2023/12/31, I start to create this article today; I got the idea of this article when I was viewing a news by BBC in X platform in the beginning of 2023/12, it was about Mr. Elon Musk’s comment involving in racial issues(racial inequality related) and some negative reports accordingly (A), besides leaving my opinion, I also gathered news(B), I think differently from (A) and (B), and I am also curious about things they were discussing, I asked and answered to myself then I hope could share some related work practice with point of view of business management for interested viewers reference. However,

1. This article is not for truth of reported news verification, thus, regarding above involved media companies of above (A) and (B), I didn’t build up a mapping list for it, there is only [if there is situation like this] will be discussed in this content.

2. I am a user of X platform; I’m not familiar with X internal management mechanism or Mr. Musk’s. It is the same as above 1., this article is not a truth verification if some news contents about their management are involved.

3. This content contains my expectation on social media platform development, however, it is possible this comes from my not familiar with how to use all their defined function or I have less idea of website development skill; for example, after I’ve used social media platforms for a long time, I know there are product functions for [@name] and [predetermine the publishing time].

4. Below contains my opinion involving things happening from now until the article is completed.

In some situation, [internal control] and [management] is the same thing, it includes [verification],[(being)authorization]and [work efficiency and effectiveness], usually, it starts from [work processes] development. 1. Happily giving [material] things to others in this lifetime and/or previous’ accumulatedly is one of the reasons to become wealthy persons.

Now is the timing of year 2023 going to  2024, please search for the most wealthy person in the world in internet, it will show this person is Mr. Elon Musk; at the same time, you will find no existing logic to predict who is the next one because it almost changes every year.

Believe it or not: Giving [material things] to others is one of the reasons for a person to become wealthy; besides making efforts to personal growth, education, involved environment and destined opportunities…etc., karma of a person who gave [material things] to others in this/past lifetimes would have impact on the value of wealth they may gain in a lifetime. Under this kind of situation, wealthy persons are surely respectable because they are persons who possess aura of bliss they gained by their [giving] to others.

 

The fundamental things I learned are: People who do financial giving, the bliss they will generate for themselves is their getting material abundance, people who give knowledge( including running schools related things), they will get bliss of being knowledgeable persons, e.g. becoming a PHD or having stronger understanding learning ability…etc., this situation explains people cannot control everything in our life, for example [some people are born in a wealthy family or some are general], [some were born to have outstanding understanding capability and some are general ability] , people cannot control everything in daily life, all we can control is how much we would like to invest in ourselves, in time and our interaction attitude. Thus, obviously, next time, if you see someone(A) treating a wealthy person B with extremely kind attitude, please do not say A is snobbish, because, it may be A’s natural reaction toward B, A feels B’s kind giving energy accumulated in lifetimes. More than that, if A meets C who is not a wealthy person, however, A also treats C with high respect, maybe, it is because C is also surrounded by great kind energy generated by himself of big giving and C carries bright light aura, and sooner or later, C will also become a wealthy person someday.

I would like to share with you some impressive concepts that I also recognize their value:

(1)  People who do giving and expect nothing in return will accumulate their own merit bigger than those who purposely do giving to others, because, [if] the purpose won’t be fulfilled, those givers of purposes won’t do giving. What’s your idea about this concept?!

(2)  The merit unit of giving is calculated based on [willingness to give] rather than the amount of money. For example: an office worker who donate his/her 10% * salary monthly(assumed TWD5,000), the merit this person will generate may be bigger than a billionaire who donates TWD100,000 every month, it is because this office worker is [willing to give his/her own bigger part of asset to people who need help]!

2. Does the highest level manager of a company need to respond netizen’s question directly?!


My opinion is: it depends on the familiarity of questions asked, occasions and who ask these questions, besides, people who are expected to answer have the rights to no to answer, delete the comment. What’s your opinion?!

I would like to share another story similar to this situation: 2023/12 on Facebook platform, I found a situation happening [ there was an organization in Taiwan holding a students’ painting competition, and student A won the 1 prize, when his school publishing the congratulation information, there was an internet celebrity B saying something similar to his disagreeing with the standard of painting works assessment, however, the ‘school’ adjusted their congratulating attitude into a more conservative way accordingly.] 👈 I have another idea of the school’s reaction toward this, though, my followers in Facebook platform are not many, I hope could drive something as a reflection of the overall situation, I meant [B is not related to the situation (neither the competitors nor the parents of students),and the procedure of his speach/asking is informal or not formal press interview, hence, the school didn’t need to respond to B for anything. What’s your idea about this?!

Most of us know this situation: sometimes, in some TV news, the reporter would say the interviewee party’s response is👉 [Until the press deadline, OOO has not responded], right?! There may be reasons causing no response, including the [the interviewee party may feel]:

-        I didn’t release this news, why I need to react?!

-        People who gave comment are not relevant to this thing, no need to respond. (= Who are these people OOO?! Why OOO’s opinion is important?! )

-        Please send formal invitation letter for your interview and our formal response. (Otherwise….how many people’s questions I need to answer?!)

It is not the same as [read but no reply]; in the situation of read but no reply, people of both sides are not strangers to each other.

Let’s go back to the topic: regarding the highest level manager of a company, I’m following 3 persons in 2 social media platforms (LinkedIn and X) they are internationally renowned and also the bosses (also the founders of companies, influencers of the platforms (Note 1)), their interaction with netizens and names are listed below; I’ve made a brief comparison:

 

(Note 1: these 3 bosses are defined as the influencers by social media platforms or news reporters; however, please note that I’m not sure how the platforms and news reporters would define a person as a influencer.)

 

The job titles of these 3 highest level managers of the companies shown in the platforms:

-        Kinya Seto; CEO (LIXIL Group, Japan /LinkedIn user)

-        Michael Dell ; Chairman and CEO(Dell Group, US/LinkedIn user)

-        Elon Musk ;( no job titile, name as @elonmusk on X[2024/1/4]/X user/also the boss of X platform currently )

 



[Content of above chart] explains:

(1)  5.Representative of brand and scope of talk in platform: Mr. Seto’s and Mr. Dell’s posts are majorly related to the business they are managing, including the information of activities they are participating; we can know that this is because the platform they are using is LinkedIn, its operating scope is focusing on business and work professional area. Regarding Mr. Musk, he replied lots kinds of things, he is also sharing information of some of his personal life; maybe it is because X platform doesn’t limit their business scope.

(2)  6.1 Response to question asked in platform: Only Mr. Musk is doing this.

(3)  6.2 History of internal [rescue]: what I mean is, in those social media platforms, when the highest level manager of the company receives netizens’ leaving questions under their profile in public, those questions may involving things similiar to customers complaints, disputes about their related industries or why their complaint being deleted…etc., and their corporate account owners will go to those comment guiding the discussion and leading it to the end of the conversation.  In my experience of browsing web pages in LinkedIn, this situation has happened to some international well-known companies, but, not many of them started this [rescue/guiding the conversation] mechanism (in some aspect, you can say this is [fire fighting action]), in the companies I’m following, only Dell and ASUS have done this kind of response before; most of the companies chose not to respond not to delete those comments. Which solution you think is better?! Management style varies by companies, so does the idea and consideration of the highest level managers, we can’t define the best one, please view below explanation.

 


In the era of social media booming today, in business management, some companies have established [spokesman system], however, these companies may not build up this [rescue/guiding speech and development] mechanism in social media platforms:

(1)  Do you think to build up this [rescue] mechanism is necessary?! Especially on LinkedIn platform which is clearly defined as a platform for business professional activities?

(2)  Regarding the importance of channels for branding activities of your company, the social media platforms are the same as other platforms (TV, newspapers or broadcasting or online TV platforms), less important? or, it is more important?

The way you assess the importance is evaluating by [the significance of advertising charge] or [opportunity of number of views] or [globalization]?!

(3)  In (1), [the speech of the highest level managers (bosses)] in social media platforms, it is their personal opinion or people should take it as the company representatives’?!

Those companies who build no guiding speech mechanism, or, those who think it is [not necessary] to define those control, they may be below reasons:[bosses say]

-        The highest level managers’ account belong to their personal accounts, they don’t need the rescue procedure by their companies’ accounts. If some help is required, I assign someone to interact with netizens.

-        Don’t react, and there won’t be people coming to comment in the future, no malicious messages in the future.

-        They may do threatening to others everywhere to gain benefit; I want to keep their comments and let everyone know clearly about who they are, I don’t accept threatening!

What’s your idea?!

I think these ideas are reasonable, too.

(4)  Mr. Musk’s racial inequality comment was criticized [very loudly] internationally; however, do you think it makes sense after you view below situation? 👉as of today(2024/1/4) there is no clear fact proving X is also a platform focusing on business and work professional, accordingly, in above chart, it shows, a comment by the No.1 influencer of X platform was heavily criticized internationally.

There is also a big influencer who also has more than 200 million followers (male, I forgot his name, now I define his name as L), [please imagine] if this L was also saying something about racial inequality, how will you feel about these…..

-        Will those global media firms find L’s comment is not appropriate?! What is the difference causing the answer becoming [Yes] or [No]? And, why?!

-        Racial inequality opinion is not allowed; however, I feel there were some specific persons guiding people to criticize Mr. Musk’s comment [loudly], do you think this is possible?! (Mr. Musk’s comment was to reply a fan’s opinion on ethnicity, and, OOO was not heavily discussed after that, why?! Thus, how many kinds of standard are there we need to follow to criticize comments?! Who should define those standards?! Did you hear [who is] criticizing how Mr. Musk comment but saying nothing about OOO?!)

If you agree with this kind of thoughts, please be advised to use this way to examine the reliability and issues behind when you’re watching/reading news on media.

-        If there are some other highest level managers of well-known international companies saying something not appropriate on X or LinkedIn platforms, will they also be loudly criticized?!

Will their situation be the same as Mr. Musk’s or X’s that the [hot topics of news] would start from boss’ inappropriate speech👉 within 72 hours👉 jump to the discussing the possibility of this company’s bankruptcy?!  👈 I’m skeptical, it majorly because before Mr. Musk becoming [well-known], internationally, there were more than one male entrepreneurs saying things discriminating against women or racial inequality, and there was no news reporting their business may go bankruptcy accordingly, right?! What’s your opinion?!

-        I was expecting news reports about the amount of fines imposed on X or Mr. Musk by the U.S. government unit that regulates the media?! However, it was skipped and directly showed the denouncing from the President’s office, the predicted amount of revenue X will lose…I feel confused and news work progress and speed also seemed weird…

 

Above is my personal idea, I cannot gather anything else as facts for comparison, however, do you think it is reasonable?! Thank you!

 

(5)  If any companies or any representatives for a company receive those questions asked, can they not to answer or just ignore it directly?! Is that appropriate to do that?! Or, they can say:

-    Please contact our customer service direct line OOOO….

-    It’s not my work professional (not our business scope), it is not appropriate for us to answer this question.

-    The responsible work department is OOO, I’ll tell them to answer you.

-    I’m not sure about their current situation; I believe they will deal with it perfectly!

-    Thank you for caring, we’ll keep making effort to it.

-    We don’t want to release related information at this moment.

-    (Pretending wrong number! Or, cannot hear clearly… 😆)

 

(6)  Do you think it is necessary to build up a [Media relationship and spokesman work procedure] and do internal related work training and promoting this policy?! Or, this is the 1st time you know this kind of thing?!

For your reference: I gained this concept when I was working for my former employer, Arcoa Inc., it was the Marketing department initiating the work according to our Group Headquarter work instruction(Far Eastern Group), we needed to build up related management policy and it needs be aligned with Arcoa internal work environment, including defining the authorized spokesman and its appropriateness, the way to deal with external inquiry…etc.

Do you think your company needs to build up this kind of policy?!

Or, the environment of your company consider [things won’t go wrong because it is our boss handling everything and speaking to the outsiders], right?! (We can know from the released information of the listed companies in Taiwan, the spokesmen of their company may belong to any work department of their companies, it depends on their internal work environment and work authorization).

Regardless the result and fact of that story, do you think the source of a news is important or not?!

(It was impressive and I felt happy because I understand that English “Says who?” 😄)

 

This story is to continue above predicted amount of revenue decrease of X:

 

Current X is not a listed company, revenue number and any kind of its operating digits is not open; I am very curious about the source of the figures reported in the news for the amount of revenue decline X will have due to the boss’s comments. Who gave the information to news media firms?! They are internal or external parties?!

 

This is information security and business information confidentiality issues.

Or, it is the news media estimating the number based on OO?! What the OO may be?! True or false news, does the news media firms need to take any kind of legal responsibility for this?!

 

(8)  Do you agree: company or individual profile page on social media is like the wall /external appearance surrounding the company, façade of external wall or external side of main door of personal house, if it doesn’t do anything against the rule of the social media platform, the accounts owners have the rights to add or delete content because of their own any purposes. That is, unless they are not aware of the information, otherwise, under the consideration of [brand image and business professional], the companies can delete malicious or harassing comments, and it is a must to delete it. Then, if any improper comment is not deleted, or, it is not deleted [timely], is it a kind of this company internal responsible work department not able to fulfill professional work responsibility of managing the company’s image, it will extend to lots of issues, it also involves in cross functional communication work efficiency improper problems, right?!

Moreover, how long is [timely]?! Does it need to define a KPI as a standard of timely response?

 

3. Which 1 is the best description? Ask a [friend].

(1)  Why a person with constant negative news can become the richest person in the world?!

(2)  People being the richest person has been by turns for N hundreds of years; why there is lots of negative news for the person of this year?!

 

The above 2 points is the confusion I have when I’ve gathered reported information about Mr. Musk, especially about those [description with not neutral attitude];[for example] there was a post saying about [an international well-known organization(just named it as: C)] talking about their hoping to gain donation to solve famine problems in the world, and, C said directly, they only needs OOO% of the amount of Mr. Musk’s property as the donation and they can solve related problems, and the subsequent news also said Mr. Musk really did the donation….

About the description of [OOO% of the amount of property as donation, I asked my friends about how they feel about this words, and, including mine, we all think it is impolite as a help requester saying this donation expectation to givers, and because the amount is huge, it seems they are disrespectful because they used [speaking intention to the air] to express what they need, it is not balanced with C’s international role status, and, I didn’t find any report indicating something inadequate about C’s behavior, later, the news said [he really did the donation]…, it reflected the media agrees C’s attitude. What’s your idea about this?!

 

Regarding big amount of [charity donation] or [business fundraising] , in any work organization who needs funding, if they expect some specific persons to invest money in them, and the work organization hope could strategically talking to the media first, is it more appropriate to describe things like this?! After above news, it was discussing Mr. Musk might donate his money through his foundation, maybe, they were saying this because related persons cannot check the cash flow, I didn’t find any information saying people showing gratitude or respect toward Mr. Musk, I feel a little disappointed. In Taiwan, there were also stories talking about famous wealthy persons doing the donation, and there were also unexpected big amount donation coming from people no one knows who they are, e.g. a vegetables vendor, the news media always reported with a positive attitude, and on the contrary, things related to Mr. Musk, I feel they were delivering a message related to: rich persons must do charitable donation,

Rich persons’ charitable donation is a [should do] thing.

Why is this?

We don’t know what kind of funding issues or demand everyone is facing every day, so, why people would create such an atmosphere for the rich?! It seems not proper. What’s your idea?!

I found the aspect the news reported was not neutral, I don’t know what the true reason is, however, if there is opportunity, I hope could know how another 2 bosses, Mr. Seto(LIXIL) and Mr. Dell(DELL) will see those news?! I’m also curious about why these things/news didn’t happen to these 2 bosses?! If these 3 bosses are very close friends, will the overall situation be different?!

Below are these 3 bosses public image and its difference:

👉 I found the reported news said Mr. Seto attended the activities of Japanese people thriving for women’s rights; LIXIL won the award of the Best Company for Women, both shows respect toward women, the image of the highest level manager of the company and the image of the company are aligned.

👉 Mr. Dell’s public image told people he is a family man, does everyone know this?! Please search for related information, it is not difficult to have this kind of news, or, you can find it in Mr. Dell’s book, Play Nice but Win, and you can feel it; DELL is always in the list of the Best Company to Work For. Employees are employees’ family’s family members, in this kind of company and in my understanding, it is a boss who loves his family also invest his love to caring his employees, and let others’ family enjoying working in his company and work happily.  

👉 Mr. Musk’s public image is also a family man……I’m not sure does he invest love in caring his employees?! ❓❓ It is because in Mr. Musk’s companies, there are [employees’ public safety and danger issues], he hopes X employees invest [bigger number of work hours], he also works [overtime] work together with his employees; in news, I can’t find how he love his employees, and does this means he ignores employees work rights?! There are some possibilities: i. There is a lot of caring for his employees, but he doesn’t release this kind of information. ii. There is a lot of caring for his employees, he also shares this kind of information but the media doesn’t want to report it. iii. Vice versa as above; regardless the truth, only Mr. Musk and [all] of his employees know the situation, and the information people can access is the negative about Mr. Musk’s image on employees caring. Right?!

It’s like LIXIL and DELL, Mr. Musk is managing many companies and they all have great contribution to human beings, technology, energy and resources and the whole globe, in public information, it seems Mr. Musk hope could save the bigger group(all the people) first and take care of the smaller group(employees) later?! This is different from general expectation from others:

 

[If we want to love others, we need to firstly have the ability to love ourselves and people around us (employees).]

 

Therefore, is the aforementioned news involving biased report about Mr. Musk’s information intentionally highlighting his business management cannot meet others general expectation? This is my speculation and confusion for your reference.

-        What are you/your boss famous for?!

-        Is your boss’ personal image the same as what their employees’ think of them?! Are they tightly aligned with the company’s management goals?

-        Doing good deeds in a low profile is originally a virtue. After reading Mr. Musk's news, I think doing good deeds in a low profile may hurt ourselves. What do you think?!

-        Do you remember those mentioned in paragraph 1, people who do financial giving but expect nothing in return, they accumulate a bigger bliss and virtue than others? Is it possible Mr. Musk and other wealthy persons have always been rich is because they are doing good deeds in a low profile?!

-        Have you found that blocking inappropriate comments and display mechanism has become strict on X in a short period of time?! I’m curious why this situation is not reported in news…


-        Karma and the law: what kind of karma a person will create for themselves if he intentionally destroy others reputation?!(Note 2)

Besides legal responsibility, maybe, in the future, no one will believe what [this person] is saying. And if [this person] means the news media, it means their [work professional] has no credibility, and it causes terrible result to themselves!

Believe it or not: Last year, I indirectly knew that those people who spreading rumors and making me lost my job, there is no one believing what they are saying now. It is because people have gained more wisdom to identify their telling the truth or false, it is also the answer of my prayer, otherwise, more people will get hurt by their rumors.

4. Advertisers are [exercising their rights] or [doing threatening], can we take chance to advertise?


(1)  X is a social media platform that advocates [freedom of speech]; what do you think [freedom of speech] is?! I think the threshold is to comply with the law, including [not] causing a crime of blatant insult. Do you agree?!

(2)  Advertisers pay for their advertising on X platform, if there is something not meeting their needs, advertisers may give an earlier notice about not purchasing advertising service in the future anymore.👈In this situation, advertisers are [exercising their rights] or [doing threatening]?

It is easier to understand [exercising rights], so, let’s skip its discussion; regarding the [doing threatening], if the targeted parties not accepting threatening, the threatening won’t exist, and, because of the advertising agreement confirmed by both sides before, one of the two parties needs to pay the penalty according to the clause, and that’s all.

In the video of interviewing Mr. Musk, in responding advertisers’ [exercising rights] he unexpectedly said a work that I’m not familiar with….👉what is it…👉 FUNNY!?! 😄 just kidding!

 

No one deserves to be treated with this kind of word; however, no one deserves to be unfairly treated by the many news media.

Another topic in this paragraph, [can we take chance to advertise]?!

Basically, people doing advertising is to find a place with [lots of people] then doing it; for example, we can find in TV news, it frequently shows that there are people holding up placard in protest [behind the interviewee], [content of the protest] is not necessary related to the interviewee, and the interviewee is not the representative for the protest. It is the same situation in that racial issues, Mr. Musk is not the celebrity endorsement for any advertisers, hence, those advertising appeared around Mr. Musk or any speech related to racial inequality doesn’t mean the advertisers also promote any form of rights of inequality; on the other hand, it is the same as the identities difference between major shareholder and the company, even Mr. Musk(major shareholder) uses X image as his personal image on X platform(the company), it doesn’t mean Mr. Musk’s opinion is X’s opinion. And, maybe it is because culture difference, my opinion is not the same as those advertisers who would like to pause their advertising on X platform; if I’m the advertiser/Whatsyouridea1996, I would tell X platform to help me advertise immediately around those area that has raised big attention and say [Whatsyouridea1996 support all races are equal, please sponsor Whatsyouridea1996 to support races equality].

5. [If] we can define only 1 work KPI for platform manager, which one you will choose? why?!


(1) Increase the number of effective views.

(2)  Increase the amount of [operating cash] inflow.

 

Many people know the answer is (2), however, they feel (1) and (2) are the same things?!

[For example]: there is an international renowned brand company, they made the headline many years ago: their foreigner President working with dealers doing stockpiling to create fake sales number (reach KPI(1))…thus, their products sold records in accounting book was actually accounts not receivables(cannot reach KPI(2)).

This is frequently discussed internal control issue, the company only defines the increase of sales amount as sales persons’ work KPI, they didn’t consider accounts receivables collection also need to be included in the work targets, and there is a great possibility their salespersons would achieve the sales number in an inappropriate way…

Let’s go back to the topic again, regarding Mr. Musk’s being continuously reported in a not neutral way…..you are right👉 the possibility of below situation is not 0%:

 

The platform manager’s work KPI is to increase the number of effective views, hence, the platform manager may create fake negative news of No.1 influencer of the platform /Mr. Musk in order to attract big attention and report by news media, and this could also increase viewers’ click. Hence, news media sources of non-objective information may come from X itself, and possibility is not 0%.👈What’s your idea about this assumption?! I share this internal control point of view, and, only the company can verify and knows the truth.

It is not easy to create [positive] news, because, they need to persuade Mr. Musk to do something positive for specific report, as for negative information, they only need to create a rumor, it can achieve not only KPI but they don’t need to be responsible for operating cash inflow.

 

It is also possible that the company use negative news material for themselves to grab attention, and that may be something formal in their marketing plan, and their boss also agrees with it, I don’t know many of this kind of cases(I only remember there were companies wrongly define their products sales price in the e-stores and saying that was their manual work error, a 0 is omitted, and that caused people crazily order big amount of volume of their products…or, there were artistes using negative news to enhance their own image exposure in news), after all, not many people would like to build their image as a [not reliable] person, especially the business entrepreneurs, right?!

The answer of the topic, if we can define only 1 KPI, it is surely (2), the platform manager’s work plan needs to contain increase the number of views and also the increase of operating cash inflow, they cannot create negative topic or they will cause the risk of losing their advertisers.

6. Imagine, those influencers are the artistes managed by the media platform firms, hence, the charge of the advertising should differ from platform areas surrounding artistes because the [number of their followers are different, so does the [degree of the attachment].

This topic, it is feasible, however, before racial issues happened, I didn’t find any big page advertising appeared around Mr. Musk’s area on X, it is a pity to X and all the advertisers.

There was information on X about advertiser D, they would like to advertise again if Mr. Musk could not to speak for 6 months on X; my point of view is:

(1)  Under this condition, it will bring advertising risk to D, and it is also not good to X, it is majorly because Mr. Musk is the influencer status on X, the role is similar to [stage pillar](major role) in Chinese language, and it is also possible one the main reason that X’s members keeps increasing, if he keeps quiet, it is possible X would lose other business opportunities. To consider the risk and rights of both sides, I would like to suggest they add these in their advertising agreement, [the penalty clause for X less control mechanism of speech]+[increase the charge on D’s needs], this is to balance the concerns of both side, or, this is a kind of special agreement, and it is reasonable, this kind of terms happen in general business deal, and because it is [special agreement] it is similar to [customized products spec], the suppliers side need to invest higher cost or sacrifice more opportunities, thus, they increase the fees charged, it is not rare.

(2)  All the social media platforms users have numbers of followers, and all the number are different by persons, social media platforms could charge the advertising fees by levels, the area with  better influencing persons/more followers, the higher advertising fees, it depends on how each platforms would like to manage and define their operating purpose and also the way they would like to offer to advertisers for their more suitable choices; advertising fees of area close to Mr. L on LinkedIn and Mr. Musk on X could be relatively higher, at the same time,  under the compliance of all legal requirements, if a platform possesses members profiles analysis abilities, e.g. by genders and life preference etc., the platforms are able to provide more and more services to advertisers, it also brings benefits to platforms themselves. Because I’m managing this blog, I become a [multiplatform user], I hope there will be a company would like to [integrate] functions of these platforms, that is the so called [cross industries collaboration], then, individual or business members are allowed to do one-time login for multiple useful resources, in this situation, operating incomes and sources of platforms and those collaborating work suppliers also benefit each other; please view my created image below, I use my platform as an example for this explanation. (1)  Multiple-languages menu is an important tool for website’s internaltionalization: The languages menu I admire most is that implemented in DELL’s website, it categorizes by Asia, Europe…etc., and its detail is also included.

(2)  The brand image can be colorful and changes the color by season, including black and those bling-bling; color is also one of the elements of image, its meaning may differ from cultures or Yin-Yang and its 5 elements, it can also consider numerology issues.

The reason of changing color….it is interesting!👉😆

Regarding reaction in platforms, I also hope some of them can be ”giving scores by star(s)” or ”fruits”, it includes content value assessment(ex:5 stars🌟)or mood(durian! ! it can mean loyal words are hard to be accepted👉😁)

 

(3)  Multiple type of [searching tool bars/Choose your selecting bar]: Members can define v specific tool bar they want it to show on their screen. The purpose of multiple type of searching tool bars is to [expand platforms members categories], it can effectively increase the number of effective member, I also suggest to define [jobs/talents search] bar is a must option, it is majorly because most of members are not necessary having the need to go e-shopping or using the library, however, they must need to do job searching(some says function of searching for foods is a must, however, people searching for food is not always by using internet platform to fulfill this need; what’s your idea?

Take [X platform] and [Taiwan jobs/talents search market] as the example: If there is LinkedIn jobs/talents search tool bar and also DELL’s languages menu(Taiwan/Traditional Chinese language), there is a great possibility it would attract current members of 104 job bank(listed job bank firm in Taiwan) and Taiwanese members of LinkedIn to become individual or company members of X, and, it won’t decrease members of 104 and LinkedIn because the platforms nature are different . The idea of other searching tools bars are similar to this one, it utilizes meeting the [required demand] and [local languages] to reach the enhancement of membership globalization and increase its [depth] and [range], the platform would also create much more global business opportunities to themselves.

At the same time, in using jobs/talents search function, members would consider using their nicknames or real names on the platform, they can choose to use multiple accounts ID in several of platforms or to centralize and use only 1 ID in a platform.

 

2024/1/20, this is another example: to compare with portal ( e.g. Yahoo) , X is more beneficial to viewers because it is a platform that news channels all over the world would come together and viewers don’t need to change the web address, if there is 1  selecting tool bar on X=[Country][category:News][category:Politics(or Travel or School or…)], then X also covers portal.

 

 

(4)  “Choose your bulletin board”, this is for members to customize their own users’ page, and it also can change: I would like to use [AttentionPlease] and [ReadersSay] of my blog as the example, thus, in the image, the payers advertisers are ASUS and LIXIL; in other words, as an advertiser, they may want to define the columns as a fixed board, not allowing members to choose to display it or not, it ensures their advertising is visible for everyone.

 

 

(5)  Other functions of the platforms, such as below:

-        [Maybe], all the members of the platform are mobile phone users( the difference is the phone suppliers); thus, the platform has the opportunity to work with mobile phone suppliers and data analysis software suppliers to become a platform of mobile phone customers service providers or international customers data analysis platform, so, the platform has the opportunity to have new members of mobile phone users or their adhesion, and the mobile phone suppliers would have the system service and software suppliers would earn the service fees income etc.

-        Event Manager mechanism and activities(OOO expo income), less than 5minutes-full page advertising income(the advertising size reach the edge of the screen) etc.; in order to create a win-win-win result among advertisers, platform and members of the platform, is it possible some interesting game being implemented in the advertising?! ( magic cube/6 sides, 9 lattices in 1 side/members need to complete 1 side in order to go to next page, they need to click the brand letters on the keyboard shown in screen in order to go to next page/e.g.ASUS, complete the puzzle…etc.).

8. The work power of [platform manager] is also important, and, none is reported.

[Platform Manager’s] work power should be higher than [Platform Owner];[platform manager] means the management mechanism or policy and procedures for comments’ appropriateness on the platform that everyone needs to follow its idea, even though the person who disobeyed the rule is the [owners of the platform], their comments need to be deleted or blocked. I feel currently X is optimizing and reinforcing this work function, and, LinkedIn uses report and customer service mailbox mechanism, Facebook controls this by information verification procedure, as for Google, it doesn’t allow harmful information being published via blog platform, and I take this kind of information more valuable as news to be reported, people are able to know which platform has stronger debugging or blocking technology and which is more trustworthy.

How do you define the value of news?!

Some media said Linda, CEO of X is not able to timely know product updating work progress (it belongs to Mr. Musk’s work scope) and defines it as a key report, I feel it is a pity they allocate news resources like this, because, it is common in many companies that the CEO work scope doesn’t include managing Finance, Manufacturing or R&D, or, HR, and these work scopes are centralized its management in headquarter or Chairman office’s direct work assignment, CEO work responsibility doesn’t cover all the work functions management is not unusual.

If you are a business owner, to whom would you like to ask for investment advice?! I found Mr. Musk asked for opinion from netizens, if this is a kind of conducting strategy for increasing marketing volume, I think it successfully attracted attention; generally speaking, if a boss asks for investment advice from external party, it is possibly causing their Chief of Investment/think tank feeling sad, because their boss didn’t ask them for idea, or, the boss thinks their idea is not enough. This thought came from another news article, it means, Mr. Musk “was forced to acquire Twitter”…I’m also thinking other kind of questions👉 in jobs/talents search interview procedures, how would Mr. Musk or those hiring managers in his team answer these questions that job seekers may want to know:

 

(1)  Besides earning salary, and the opportunity of working with No.1 influencer of the website, what kind of mechanism this company/Group would like to use to attract ideal talents?

(2)  How would you describe the [significant decision making procedure] in this company?!

Because1: People who would like to work in a place where it could bring them opportunity of professional development prefer its work environment is in a culture of work authorization, on the contrary, in a centralized management work style, people need to get conclusion from boss before their taking any action at work, in this kind of work environment, the employees have less opportunity to think and take less work responsibility of work, it is because those work responsibilities belong to their managers or bosses.

If I would like to discuss about a “responsible person”, then, people who prefer working in an environment of work authorization or a centralized management style, which kind of persons are more responsible? Accordingly, which kind of employees deserve better and higher salary that is equal to the value of given work responsibility to them?!

 

A company with a work culture of work authorization or decision making work power is centralized, which is healthier and would have a steady growing path?! Why?!

 

 

Example 2: by answering this question, people would know this manager’s or boss’ confidence in decision making and their tolerance of other viewpoints.

 

(3)  What kind of activities you would do when you are not working?! How would you do for releasing work pressure?!

 

2024/1/11, in a TV program, people classified personal preference as [top], [high class]…etc. I possess one of the high class and a lower class preference: reading and eating too much.😄

Those [low class] is not something to blame others, it is a kind of adjective to describe things not helpful to people who are doing it. Is it better to say they are [lower level]?!

We can know how a person treats themselves by knowing their preference; in my understanding: reading, it means people think themselves possessing something not enough, and they hope could learn more knowledge or common sense by reading; eating too much: maybe, it is because this person doesn’t love their own health enough, or, they are controlled by delicious food, less self-control ability. 😁 What’s your idea?!
