The deity in this photo is Guanshengdijun, major honored deity in Hsing Tian Kong, Taipei City.

You can search to know that Guanshengdijun is the only one person in history be taken as the Saint in Buddhism, Daoism and Confucianism at the same time, his name differs in this three scopes and is also changed in era in history.

This article involves in knowledge of Daoism and Buddhism, and, I learned Golden Light Deity Spell from 【Peace and Safety Card】 of Hsing Tian Kong, thus, I think it is appropriate to use this photo here.

The first time I tried to chant the Golden Light Deity Spell, I didn’t turn on the lights at home, only the desk light in my room, I hope could enjoy the silent in dark; my family went out and came home at the door asking me why I turned all the lights on it was really a waste of electricity because they found inside the house were very bright! When I stopped chanting and responded them, the brightness disappeared. I felt wow! How do you feel about this situation? I’ve shared this story with others many times, it’s so magical!

This article would like to share the procedures and prayer of my chanting Golden Light Deity Spell; below mentioned procedures and prayers　are those steps I’m using for my own chanting, you can consult to other professional persons or revise it depends on your own idea. You are also protected by Buddha or deity if you only chant the spell content. Thank you!:

1.I suggest you to meditate for 3 minutes before praying or chanting, and imagine the grand sun shining on you and all the darkness dissipates.

2.If you are a person with a great sense of rhythm, you might as well try to listen to the tempo of [Queen's Road East] first, and apply it to chanting the Golden Light Deity Spell, you’ll feel it, your body will move naturally and you’ll remember the spell quickly!

Prayer Procedures

Please be advised to have a quick view of the 6^th paragraph at the end of the article.

Due to the procedure of the transmuting chanting energy, in the beginning, you need to go to the Daoist temple and request for guidance from deity about the times you need to chant the Golden Light Deity Spell for removing curse/black magic or enemies, maybe you also need to chant for 10,000 times, or, you need to chant for 20,000 times or 5,000 times only, the number of times you need to pray, chant and transmute the energy need to be the same.

1.I usually don’t chant below word with yellow back ground. In English version of this article, I only did the pronunciation translation; for spell sharing, it is important to do pronunciation translation in languages. People who are interested in languages of spell, please consult to the major temples in your countries or Buddhist or Daoist organizations. Thank you.

2.Words in brackets( ) are the notes of times of chanting for your reference, you don’t need to chant but revise depending on how many times you need to do the chanting.

3.Words with green back ground, Buddhist disciple Emily Huang, it is my name. For example, if your name is Da Ming Wang, please revise it as Buddhist disciple Da Ming Wang. Golden Light Deity Spell is a spell in Daoism, thus, you can also say yourself as a Daoist disciple because you believe it. However, if your current religious belief doesn’t allow you to describe yourself as a Buddhist or Daoist disciple, you also can describe yourself as A Person Who Respect and Believe In You. For example, I’m Da Ming Wang, I respect you and believe in you.

4.Words with blue background is the content of prayers, please revise it depending on your own wish：

【Body Purification Mantra】：

Buddhist disciple Emily Huang hereby asks for repentance:

All the evil deeds I have done in the past are caused by endless greed, hatred and ignorance

Caused by my behavior, speech and mind, I now repent for all of the cause

Sins arise from the mind, repent from the heart, and when the mind is extinguished, the sins will also be perished.

When the mind and sin and are death are both empty, it is called true repentance.

Buddhist disciple Emily Huang would like to report to all the Buddha, deities and Generals,

Buddhist disciple Emily Huang now would like to chant :Golden Light Deity Spell, please all the Buddha, deities and Generals take charge of converting the bliss and virtue generated by Buddhist disciple Emily Huang’s chanting the Golden Light Deity Spell into the power to make below good wish be fulfilled and last forever:

(1) I invite all the Buddha, deities and Generals respectfuly, please 24 hours and everyday with and protect Buddhist disciple Emily Huang, and give guidance and bliss to make everything peace and prosperity, remove all the disasters, prevent bad things from happening, negative and shadow energy all be removed, break all curse, all the perpetrators get the consequence of things they’ve done, and they lose the capability to harm others, Buddhist disciple Emily Huang get no hurt; demons and monsters, the ferocious, viper and beast, mosquitos, flies and worms are all gone, bad friends, bad relatives, bad neighbors, bad people, jealous persons, enemies, cheaters, gossipers and interrupters all disappear, bad things and speaking ill won’t happen again.

The light of the Buddha illuminates the Birth Star. Stars of misfortune recede and stars of blessing arrive. The Nine Stars insure longevity, bringing good fortune and peace. Birth Star is bright and shining, bliss, wealth, life longevity, happiness, virtue, wisdom, self-confidence and popularity all have huge increase, all demand in life is abundant, golden light, Buddha light and holy light all shine on the body and magnify the light, get big good luck and the blooming in all aspects of life.

5.After completing above #4. Prayer, please start to chant the content of Golden Light Deity Spell, it is, the words with purple background above, and please write down how many times you’ve chanted, when you have a temporary break every day, such as having a lunch break or achieving your daily chanting target of times, eg. 100 times, please do below 2 things while 100 times are achieved:

(1)To chant Auspicious Mantra of the Seven Buddha for Waiving Sin, Dharani to Patch Flaws in Recitation and The Mantra of Completion several times; the purpose is to avoid or mend anything you may omit to chant but you are not aware of (all the pronunciation can be found in Youtube):

【Auspicious Mantra of the Seven Buddha for Waiving Sin】

lipa lipate, guha guhate, dharalite, nirharate, vimalate, maha gate, jinekante, svaha.

【Dharani to Patch Flaws in Recitation】

nā mó hē là dá nà，duō là yè yē。

qié là qié là。jù zhù jù zhù。

mó là mó là。hǔ là，hōng。hè hè，

sū dá ná，hōng。pō mò ná，suō pó hē。

【The Mantra of Completion】

ōng，hū lú hū lú，shè yì mù qiè，suō hē。

(2)Please see below. Read your own prayer again, especially those words with red background.This procedure is named as small scale of Huí Xiàng：

6.After you complete chanting Golden Light Deity Spell 10,000 times, please go to Daoist temple and do the ritual work of 「Huí Xiàng all the generated energy」:

(1) First of all, to complete all the formal religious worship procedures defined by the temple.

(2) Now I assume the major Deity worshiped in the temple you go to is Guanshengdijun. Please do this and pray for guidance:

I would like to report to Guanshengdijun, this is Buddhist disciple EmilyHuang (your name), birth year, month and date is XXX/XX/XX, home address isXXXX, please Guanshengdijun take charge of below mentioned works. Buddhist disciple EmilyHuang (your name) has completed the target of chanting Golden Light Deity Spell 10,000 times. Please Guanshengdijun help Buddhist disciple EmilyHuang (your name) to convert the bliss and virtue generated by this chanting into the power of support (above words /wish in blue) wish fulfillment.
