[ 特別感謝投稿人,投入台灣證券業30餘年的W先生,分享工作經驗及市場觀察 ]
本人服務於台灣證券業業務單位已經30多年了,對於台灣證券服務業的近年變化有些感想,希望分享給現在正想投入證券營業員工作的人幾項建議,希望對大家有用,省思慎思。當然,不代表全體從業人員意見或現況。
開門見山。今年是西元2022年,如果產業環境及法令規定在可預見的未來沒有異動跡象的話,本人不建議對營業員工作不熟悉的您投入這個行業,或者,您可再想想目前台灣證券業的工作環境是否可以達到您的長期工作願景再做決定。當然,如果您是要實際體驗證券經紀、服務人群、熟悉金融法律工作,我個人則鼓勵您設定目標短期操作,見好就收,隨時建立良好退場機制。時間寶貴,希望您的每一步都對您的金錢流入與工作或生活經驗成長有幫助:
營業員的工作主要提供投資客戶(1)市場行情訊息、(2)人工交易操作服務,(3)金融投資產品建議與銷售。
A.上述(1)與(2),營業員的服務優勢主要仰賴股市資訊在市場與投資人(尤其是一般投資人),兩者之間的資訊不對等,才….有事可做,或者,有利可圖。然而,網路資訊爆炸時代已經20幾年,台灣股票投資市場也早在1997年啟動網路下單服務平台;在這情景下,過去營業員的客戶群,已從[ 大眾 ],逐漸縮小成為今日不善於使用電腦、透過網路收集資訊的少數投資人,這樣的客戶也會逐年變得越來越少,也就自然地造成營業員攬客困難,未來的工作會逐漸往(3)發展。
B.由於電子交易興起,台灣今日的證券業均會提供客戶電子下單服務,取代人工作業,同業競爭之下不可避免地產生下單手續費削價競爭,直接影響從業人員的工作獎金,產生工作努力與獎金水準逐漸失去平衡的情形。
a.請教您數學題:手續費低0.1%,客戶成長率[確實]會高多少? 答案:精算師可能會知道。
b.請教您數學題:手續費低0.1%,若客戶交易數額不變,營業員獎金[確實]會少多少?
答案:業界普遍此邏輯-
[ 每位營業員產生的手續費收入 – 每位營業員依比例要承擔的公司固定費用*( 水電、折舊、薪資( 包含業務與非業務主管職的成分、勞健險費..等等 )…) – 每位營業員獎金發放起算金額 ] * 每位營業員抽成佔比 - 代扣所得稅 = 營業員實得獎金
c.請教您意願題:您可以從證券公司股東會年報得到各部門員工人數佔比,以5年為期分析,
若身為營業員的您,願意將手續費收入承擔近2倍的非營業員人數薪資後再計算您的獎金發放嗎?
您願意承擔多少其他固定費用的佔比自獎金成數扣除呢? 若再觀看其他產業,有時候是否會跟我一樣哀聲嘆氣呢? 😢 😅
C.目前已有證券及金融公司將事業觸角拓展到港股、美股..等等其他國家股市,成立海外市場投資平台,協助台灣投資人進行跨國投資。然而,
a.海外市場當地資訊取得不易,即便是即時資訊也會涉及語言及翻譯的議題。目前台灣人才狀況,是否足以同時支撐[ 外語能力 ]、[ 專業能力 ]、[ 馬上 ]、[ 人才不間斷地供應 ]等等4種需求,也是個重要但尚未解決的議題。
b.海外市場投資平台算是起步階段,而台灣投資人對於海外市場的興趣有多大,大到可以讓證券公司在這個商業領域產生獲利還未可知。
c.已經有人提到策略聯盟主導趨勢的方式,也就是結合台灣的所有金控或主力證券公司的力量推廣台投資海外交易平台、訓練專才服務大眾潛在客戶。然而,最大的阻力非常可能來自證券公司自己。原因是,公司內部可能沒有合適的人才來承接、支撐這樣的業務,以及,現有高階主管因利益不同或專業不同,而產生內部排擠這項新業務的隱形勢力而公司不自知,直言就是,現職高階主管對外洽談策略聯盟時直接對與現狀不同的新事業、提升公司或產業競爭力卻足以影響他個人的現實利益(譬如忽然被發現自身能力並沒有與時俱進、職位職務瞬間不保)的領域而投反對票,這是非常有可能的( 是的,這是人之常情,公司不會知道,但影響公司與產業,也就是 [ 現在證券高階主管成長於過去世代,功不可沒,但目前的產業發展,使這些高階主管主動或被動失去攬客能力,同時也會造成阻擋新事業發展的阻力或可能])。
如果您覺得上述(3)還可以耕耘,那麼,您也可以考慮投入銀行理專行列是一樣的,或者,等於是理專。只是,反觀近年理專行業每年大量徵才,原因無他,即是人才流動大,業績壓力、產品力、個人能力居主要離職原因前3名,您是否得以做得有興趣又可以異軍突起、長期發展,確實是投入後才知道了。
順道一題,既然談到營業員,不免要提到理財知識與常識,給有理財需求的所有人參考:「人生一定要靠自己建立正確理財知識與常識,多問、多查、多質疑,降低被騙被不當銷售的風險。如果想要倚靠金融業提供的資訊做判斷,除非可以接受對方提供的其實是一週前的新聞,或者,投資人已經充分確知提供投資建議的專業人員他個人的財富確實累積於他的金融專業投資、而非僅有他所屬公司提供的薪資。」。
